My fiancé went into the hospital with heart palpitations found out later that night that it wasn't her heart that she has diabetes her bgl was over 500 so they admitted her that night and she just broke down into tears because she also has bipolar so it just added another thing that she has to deal with so i have been at the hospital for 2 days, now i am at work wishing i was there with her they are saying that they might admit her for a third night and it is hard to sleep at the hospital for more than a night. Going back to yesterday the dietitian came in and explained to her what she needed to do to keep her BGL down and also told her that she has a 50% higher risk for heart disease and i just hit hard on her but the nurse saw that she does have a lot of support to help her through this and that made her feel better, her BGL keeps dropping slowly so i hope that she doesn't have to stay another night but we will see
