I am a volunteer firefighter and I also work (doing EMS), I am a full time student and I am trying to raise my 18 month old who is the biggest handful of my life. I love the fire department, its my life and my world (other then my daughter). Since I was about five years old I wanted to be a firefigher and everyone one thought it was a phase but I have been doing it here in the USA for two years now and keep learnin more everyday! I am a very funny and sarcastic person at times. I love to teach people but also love to go into burning bulidings but rescue is where my heart rest at! I am always keeping myself busy! I have a intrest in scuba diving and sky diving and anything to get my adrenlin pumping. I write poems i guess that is my girly side of me and love just about any type of music! I could talk about music for hours! I love working with all my firefighters and very proud of the people i do work with. Its awesome to be in a job that you love, it doesnt even feel like its work! I am going to become a career firefighter sometime in the near future but I want to get my nursing degree done first. I am always training and always learning something new and I love everything but hazmat! haha! I used to live in London, Uk and I have also been to a few other countries but I grew up in Texas. I am very close to my family and I love them very much! I have two brothers, one of my brothers is also a firefighter .I also have quite a few other firefighters in my family but I am the first female to do it! I don't like when women want to have different standards in the men, after all we are here to do the same job.. I love to be a career student after I am done with my bachelors in nursing, i am going to get a degree in fire sceince and when i retire i am going to become a doctor! I have a 4.0 in college and usually do pretty well at my training and i strive to be perfect (even if i am not)! I also love taking photo's i take many of them and it seems like i never stop taking them. At least when I am old I am going to have pictures prove what old grandma used to do! Overall, I am very fun person to be around and I love to help other people, also just to mention I am relgious! I believe god is with me every step of that way and he has our life sort of maped out for us. I support the US Military and anyone who doesnt stand behind them, feel free to get in front of them!
