If your looking for a full - time EMS Position, Amarillo Medical Service has opened 9 positions for EMT-P. Pay is fairly good compared to national standards and the cost of living is very reasonable. If interested google Northwest Texas Healthcare Systems and apply or call 806-358-7111 and ask for the directoe or Operations supervisor

Clintonville WI, runs fire and ambulance separate. Ambulance is paramedic level averaging about 3200 calls a year. Fire Dept. is a paid on call but will send you through fire one, two and driver operator for nothing. Oh yeah, the ambulance is really hurting for paramedics.

Fort Worth Texas and Dallas Fire Rescue both prefer that the canidate has their paramedic cert and they will put you through their academys, and the pay is pretty decent
