GARRY MORDEN Fire Chief, City of Mississauga Garry Morden passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Credit Valley Hospital on Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Beloved husband and best friend of Denise (Dunn) Morden. Dear father of Shawn and Jason Morden and his wife Amy. Papa will be sadly missed by his granddaughter Lindsay Morden. Dear son of Edwin and Joyce Morden; lovingly remembered by sister Anne Tims and her husband Trevor and nieces Lauren and Erin Tims. Fondly remembered by Gord and Cheryl, and Brian and Debbie Dunn, nieces and nephews Michael, Ken, Andrea and Nathan Dunn, Becky Kostor (Dunn). Garry felt loved and honoured by his extended family, including the firefighters from Mississauga, and those nationally and internationally. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter ''Peel'' Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10 N. of QEW) on Saturday from 5-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 4260 Cawthra Rd., Mississauga, on Monday, October 27, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Private interment at a later date in Georgetown, ON. If desired memorial donations made to Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation, 440 Laurier Ave. W., Suite 200, Ottawa, Ontario K1R 7X6, Charity No. 88214 6509 RR0001 or the Credit Valley Hospital would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
