Hello my Brothers and Sisters in Service,
I do not want to be disrespectful in any way. I was part of the rescue operation at the WTC during Sep - Oct 01 and I have lots of photos of FDNY, NYPD, Military, EPA, USCG, Ground Zero, the Landfill and some of the people who were there.
If any of you would like, please help me by letting me know some identifying information L48, E94; I saw you guys every day and prayed for you and signed your book; I have a large group photo of 10 of you; another photo 2 FF in a man basket with what looks like another construction worker putting water on the smoking pile; Looks like the operator of L22, some of the memorials that were set up at the firehouses around the perimeter, a woman paramedic, L115 silouetted against the night sky with the remains of the base of the Twin towers and the glow of the flames in the background, (The guys that were in this basket will want these photos) , engine 230, 5 guys walking, a guy with 228 on his helmet, a guy with 753 on his helmet, a guy with a t-shirt on the back says FDNY 90, Some of you FF working on the pile with light blue shirts, you were wearing the brown carhardt overalls with hardhats, some with cutting torches, 4 people in a man basket looking down, the number 3 on the helmet and the hardhat, looks like R 3; 2 guys standing next to each other right next to a huge american flag, the radio says E282, the memorial for E10 L10, I went by there every day to pray and see you all who were there, someone standing in front of the FDNY East Command Post with the number 254 on his helmet, E224, 5 of you sitting next to the water, no visible identifying numbers but the faces are clear... Someone sitting with a respirator and safety glasses on with the number 12 on his helmet, Memorial for helmet 32, guys from Ladder 8 getting massage and DC Adjustments, photos from the landfill, etc.
I have read some posts where people say that they were very upset with people taking photos and with the job I was doing we did a lot of photo documentation. Please don't be upset with me, this is very dear to my heart as are all of you who I was there with. So if you recognize any of the things I have mentioned above, give me a shout. These memories will be with me forever and every photo will be clear as day. This is truly honoring those who were there to help and those who we lost, God bless them all.
I love you guys!!! All of you that I has the blessing to work with are my true heros.
Lisa
