Why not post some pictures???
I have asked many a friend, or potential friend to post pictures of themselves on this site. Occaissionally, I get an irate boyfriend or husband writing to me and asking me to lay off their women. Well, guys, let me say this. I am only asking for pictures of faces. I don't ask anyone to post pictures that are the slightest bit racy or revealing. I simply like to see who I am talking to and making friends with.
I'm nowhere near a buff, sixpacked, stud of a man, but I wasn't afraid to post pictures of myself. I am happily married to my soulmateand I don't intend to "hook-up" with anyone on this site. I am simply trying to make friends. That's it. That's all. Nothing else.
Why shouldn't everyone be encouraged to post pictures of themselves? You have to know that everyone is curious to see what you look like, besides the pictures you post as your profile pic. Quite often, those pictures are too distant, too blurry or otherwise distorted or covered in some way to prevent us from seeing what you look like.
Come on folks!! Don't be shy. Post some pictures of your smiling faces on the site so we can all see what you look like. Nobody is here to judge you, and if they are then they don't need to be here anyway.

I don't "expect" anything of anyone. I simply ask. It is everyone's personal choice to post or not. But, you are right about 1 thing. There is a clear pattern of behavior. I prefer talking to women and I enjoy seeing their pictures. That's it, whether you choose to believe it or not. That's the "truth" I referred to. No manipulation. Just requests. See you in the funny papers.

No matter how hard you try, it's impossible to convince some people that your agenda is pure and innocent. So, I will not try with you, FireSiren. Some people are just naturally suspicious of anyone who is a little different than what they expect. For you Michael, I guarantee my intentions are friendly. My preferences in friends are my perogative. I don't and can't force anyone to accept my friendship. To anyone who really cares about the truth, then I invite you to post some pictures of yourself. If you are uncomfortable with that, then don't post any. I will not stop asking for people to post pictures and I will not change my preference in friends to satisfy you or anyone else.

Out of 239 friends, 209 are female on your page. It just seems you have an agenda, other than sharing, brotherhood and sisterhood. Take today for example; all your requests for photos were to the ladies. I just ask that you tone it down a little, that’s all. I have NEVER asked anyone on this site to post photos. This site should be used for the good of the fire and EMS service, just my opinion. But thanks for the blog, i'm shure others may agree with you.

By the way, we all love pics of fires and trucks and helicopters and whatever else you post, but a few pictures of yourself personalize your page.
