I did not have time yesterday with all the calls and rain that seemed to come our way all day long but I wanted to post this in memory of a lost friend in the pentagon attack. I look around sometimes and forget how truly blessed I am. I want to take the time and tell everyone that had been there for me, stood beside me when the light at the end of the tunnel seemed very dim, cheered me on or just cheered me up. Thanks for being firefighters, paramedics, medics, nurses, and anyone who chooses a calling far more than imagined. To the friends that I have you are a true blessing and words can not describe the honor that I have for being a part of so many lives. I leave with a thought of the day in honor of those who sacrificed so much.

"Although flames surround me, although sickness surrounds me, although anger is well known to me, although sorrow is well known to me, I know that I am not alone; for my god is with me and he has blessed me with brothers and sisters in arms that will stand beside me. So I know that I am blessed for you never leave your own.
"

Everyone stay safe and never forget
