On 10/15/07 the Mitchell Fire Co. No. 3 and Hope Hose Fire Co. No. 2 lost FF. Ernie Nichols. Ernie was a wonderful man and a true brother. He brought life to the firehouse and definately gave all he had to make you laugh. Ernie was a friend to everyone. For all that knew Ernie I am sure you can agree, that he will be truely missed and remain in our hearts forever. Thank you for your positive outlook on life, you touched a lot people and definately helped us through some hard times. We will always love you and never forget you...
