- What a great site and an excellent resource for all kinds of challenges and training. I think my most challenging fire was when it was 25 below zero. We had to leave the nozzles open just a little bit so our hoses wouldn't freeze. We still had them freeze, we had to use flares to thaw out the couplings and bring them back to the station on a flat bed trailer to thaw out. What is your most remarkable fire? EMS run
