SAVE THE RACE ST. FIREHOUSE

This is a link to a video about the Pennsylvania Convention Center expansion project that is currently going on in my local at work. The demolition is nearly complete except the The Race St. Firehouse (Old Fire HQ) that is still slated for demolition. If ever there was a building that Philadelphia should preserve this is one. I urge any Historical Preservationists, Fire Buffs or anyone interested in saving a piece of our history to contact Gov. Rendell and the Convention Center Authority and ask them to save the Race St. Firehouse. There is a nice shot of one of the Gargoyles at the end.
