hey everyone....My name is katrina and i am on the corum oklahoma volunteer fir dept. I am proud to be on the dept and finally doing something i enjoy. I have always wanted to do something to help people and the community where i live and it finally happened. I get to take the first responders course that starts in jan. and have that to help me too. I am an licensed security officer and having a hard time finding a job where we live. Other than that life is so much better now. I finally have the love of my life--jim and we are getting married next year. Jim is also on the fire dept and assistant chief. I have never been a typical female and hav always joined right in with the guys on cars and all....always a tom boy and a rebel....what can i say----i'm better that way. I do enjoy my female things now but growing up they couldn't get me out of my jeans and t-shirts or the tree house. I do enjoy dressing up once in a while but when you are around a farm and livestock all the time what's the point. Gonna go for now but i'll be back with more later.
