i have been a firefighter for almost 6 months now and loveing every call i get to respond to. im still learning everytime i put on my turn out gear. im also in the process of trainning for driver and pump operater. im looking forward to that. and also looking forward to my classes for car rescue. and hopefully will be going through first responder classes soon. im only a mod one firefighter but i hope to be able to get my full npq 1 done soon. i am also looking forward to that. i havent responded to anything major yet just a few grass fires one pretty desent forest fire and a few fully ingulfed homes but no one was in them at the time which is a good thing. well i will write more as my trainning progresses and i get more time under my belt. but i am proud to be part of a great history of firefighting and i hope that i dont discrass this job and the ppl that risk there lives to save another. and to all of you who do this for a liveing or do it as a vol, my hat goes off to each and every one of you and to the familys who have lost loved ones in the fire sevice, i am honard to be part of death prevention and takeing every safty measure to prevent more deaths. my hat go off to you as well.
