Well we finished all but the floor and ceiling of the bay. it def looks brighter than it did. now we can resume drill on Tuesday nights.

Ive noticed now that the temp is starting to drop out here in pa that the calls for smoke and or smell of gas in a house have jumped. Do people check their furnace before turning it on the first time of the season anymore? I thought it would be common sense just to make sure all is ok before you turn up the thermostat and walk away for a few hours. Mabe its just me and I think things out. oh well its still shaping up to be a hopping month.

I agree those should be checked as well as, having the chimney cleaned every year! Our Chief just told us last week to get ready with the price of oil going through the roof and PPL not being allowed to shut power off during the winter months we're going to get alot of calls for misuse of kerosene heaters, overloaded outlets and electric heaters plugged into extension cords
