I've been on my Dept. 5 months -starting FF1 in 8 days -let you know- if you really want it you will achive it.

I have some advice for ya deb.Always trust your instincts,never let anyone tell ya your crazy for being a firefighter,listen to the instructors because they wouldnt be instructors if they have'nt experienced what they are teaching first hand.And most importantly deb always fear fire because that will teach you to respect it.The day you stop fearing fire is the day you should leave the fire service.Every veteran firefighter will tell you the same thing.You will make it deb just believe in yourself.Good Luck.
