Greetings to all, from the Henry County Fire Dept. GA

We curently have a young firefighter that has been diagnosed with cancer.

His name is Britton Cauthan

Britt has been out of work for some time now and continues to battle this disease daily. Enough annual time has been donated to him from his co workers to keep his check coming in for awhile. We have also conducted several fund raisers to assist him in his time of need.

Please take a moment and visit Britt at the below address: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/brittoncauthen

His fellow firefighters are working now to send Britt and his family to Disney World in Orlando Fla. I recieved the following e mail today.

To Whom It May Concern:

Anthony Storey and I have been calling around and making contacts for a donated trip to Disney World and its other attractions for Britt and his family. Britt and his family will be leaving on November 17th and returning either November 21st or November 22nd. Air Tran has donated all the air fare for him and his family and Disney’s Compassion program has donated the tickets for his family. We are now trying to get some cash (for food, rental car, tolls and other expenses) and also a hotel room donated to them for their time down there. If anybody knows of any contacts in the hotel business, restaurant business in Orlando, or rental car agencies, please let me know. We are trying to make this an expense free trip for them. We may also need help getting them to the airport and returning them if anyone wants to volunteer for that, there will be four of them traveling. Another idea is trying to get a hotel room for one night in Atlanta for them the night before they leave for Orlando. So in closing please forward all info to my email @ shamrock30248@yahoo.com or call me at 678-898-3942. If anybody would like to donate any cash to this trip please give it to your Battalion Chief and they can pass it on to Chief Gardner who will collect it.

Thanks

As you can see V HArris and A Storey have been busy. So has the immediate FD family. Now let us see what the extended FD family can do.

Is there any firefighters in Orlando or surrounding areas that can help us out? It would be great just to have a firefighter or entire fire company meet Britt and his family at the airport. He and his family will need help with luggage and getting to and from the rental area. If you can help with any of these needs please notify us ASAP.

Questions? Call me 770-288-6651 office 770-560-2317 cell

Thanks for your consideration,
