A little history on My Hero Stocking Co. My bestfriends husband went through the fire academy and seeing the hard work and dedication that it took was incredible. I take my hat off to all of you who have done it! I decided that I was going to get him his first Firefighter Christmas Stocking, well I spent weeks looking on the internet and couldn't find anything that I was really crazy about so I decided to design my own Christmas Stocking for him. I made the pattern and when his wife and I were volunteered to help wrap gifts at the Firestation for Toys for Tots he took the stocking down to show a few firefighters. Then he asked me to make them for 20 firefighters, so we did and I have been asked to make more, so I decided that I would turn it into a business and I could give back to families of firefighters and other causes that are very dear to my heart through this business.
