Just wanted to say hey to all the firefighters that look up my page! I really love this website...its nice to have a place to go to talk to people who understand what you do and why you do it. When people ask me why I would ever want to be a firefighter, its so hard to explain to them how a passion this strong can make you overlook but respect danger just so you can help people. At the end of the day, I still don't think they understand why anyone would, famous quote, "Want to run in when everyone else is running out." But here, people understand that and don't question it. It's nice to have this huge group of people who can relate to something that you feel so strongly about. I really am happy I found this site and became part of it. And although I'm nowhere even close to knowing everyone on this site, it feels like we're one big family.
