So much for a relaxing Saturday. Had to do a pr function at the creek front for most of the day. Got to do some show and tell with the kids. When home after that and immediately had my pager go off for a first responder run. Then about a half hour later pager when off again for an accident. Drove engine 6 to the scene and got there just in time to turn around and go back the way I had came to sit up an lz for medevac. It was really interesting backing the engine up a two lane country road the is barely wide enough to drive forward on. To top it off, other responders were leaving the accident scene to help with the lz. So, here I am backing up a narrow 2 lane road, trying to find someplace to turn around and at the same time watching for traffic comming up from behind and dodging vechicle trying to get around me to get to the lz. Interesting run to say the least.
