Hey everybody I just read a great book it was a true story about a fire that happened in december of 1999. i recomend everybody to read it. ITs called 3000 degrees I dont like to read and I am telling the truth and i got it last thurs and finished it yesterday! I will tell you the first 7 chapters is slow no disrespect its about the firefighters, who they was and how they became a fieman. chapter 8 starts the fire and it hooked me. I dont have time to read during the day on my job but when i got home i read acouple of nights i didnt even turn on the tv! thats how good it was. yes its sad and the men who died was very brave and i am proud to be a fireman. If you dont cry while you read it you are either cold hearted or didnt read it word for word cause i been threw alot myself and most of the guys on the department with me will tell you i am very tuff with what happens on scenes. I am six foot one and weight 225 and i cryed like a baby no joke and if you laugh before you read this book i bet you will cry when you get done reading it to. check it out later firemanjo

Oops, almost forgot....you might want to check out a fairly new song that came out.....Its called "The Fireman's Prayer" By Plain Folk...It is a very nice song and would even be appropriate for a memorial service....I have made copies for half a dozen Departments....Later Brother........Paul

Yes, if you want to get a real hit from it try the audio book...it is almost like you are there....6 Firefighters died that night.....to this day I don't understand why someone didn't open that cold storage warehouse up long before that fire ever happened...the chief states..."That building scared me every time I passed it"....or even preplanning...Oh well that's hindsight I guess.....you may see memorials for "The Worchester Six" it is that fire.....Paul
