From Billy Goldfeder:
It is our sad duty to advise you that our former President Larry Grilliot passed away peacefully in his sleep early the morning of 9/29/07 (while recovering from knee replacement surgery on 9/21).. He had remained in the hospital until Thursday 9/27/07 due to a blood clot, but was released home on 9/27.
Larry was President of Morning Pride from 1945 (when he returned from service in WWII as a flight instructor) to 1981 when his son and current Morning
Pride/Total Fire Group President Bill Grilliot succeeded him. Larry's father was the founder of Morning Pride, and he succeeded him.
Many of you know Larry and know what a gentleman he was. He loved his horses, his family and his professional family at Morning Pride. We
are comforted that he died peacefully, and is now re-united with his beloved wife of more than 50 years (Mary E.) Larry and Mary E were a powerful team during the many years they ran Morning Pride, we know they will be just as powerful a team in heaven.
The Grilliot, McLaughlin, Armstrong, Murty and Wyman families thank you for your thoughts and prayers for our father and grandfather.
Dad will be
