Pittsburgh St. Patrick's Day Parade, and some rambling....

Believe it or not, we have the 2nd largest St. Patty's Day parade in the nation, only behind New York City. You always here of Boston's, Chicago's and NYC's, but Pittsburgh is right up there folks! We are steeped with Irish tradition around here. Be proud to be Irish! Be proud to be an Irish firefighter!…

Funeral service information for firefighter Brad Holmes

The Pine Township Engine Company announced today the funeral arrangements for Brad Holmes, who died Wednesday morning from injuries suffered in a Feb. 29 house fire in Grove City.



Funeral home visitation will be held at the Cunningham Funeral Home, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City, Mercer County, at the following times: 2-4 p.m. and 6-9p.m. Friday.

Please keep two local brothers in your thoughts and prayers folks!

On the morning of February 29th two Pine Township Firefighters were injured battling a blaze which claimed the life of a 44 year old Grove City, PA woman. One has since been released from the hospital and is recovering at home. The other is in critical condition at a Pittsburgh, PA hospital. Here are some related links to the story.
