Well we're up to 2 today.
First was a medical assist.
The second was an MVC with Rescue. We were back-up to a volunteer Truck who got out late so we got there after the Squad.
SUV on its roof with 2 still inside.
A little stabilization, and assist as needed.
Still have 3 hrs to go.
Stay safe
Lt. Dan

Not much happened today
The Engine ran a few, then they went a body short so we got to take 1 medical response for them.
Did get a chance to work out, so thats a plus.
Stay safe,
Lt Dan

Had a good dinner, and a little work-out.
We'll see what the rest of the night brings.

Started with a bang (at least for somebody else) we had to relieve B-Sift on the scene of a Dwelling Fire.
Small single family, lots of stuff everywhere, Fire started in the Basement, and extended up to the first floor via the Bathroom.
Waited for FID, did some overhaul, went home.
Only had one more call all day and got cancelled on that.
Got lots of administrative stuff though.
Well guess I'll try again tomorrow night.
Stay Safe,
Lt Dan

Well here we are 1st night in, not much going on.
Cut-up a "has-been" demolition-derby car for Auto-ex training.
Not having much luck trying to "Jack" the dash with spreaders instead of "Rolling" it with a ram.
Any suggestions out there?
Well going to finish watching some football, then see if I can get some sleep or not.
Go Patsies! (I mean Patriots)
Stay safe

Well 1st Day for C-Shift this trick and I'm detailed to the Engine again.
Another day in the Fire Triangle OOOHHH.
Caught a bed fire (not a bedroom just the bed) and a lot of smoke.
We were 3rd Engine in so not much work.
On the way to the shop we happened upon a Tractor-Trailer who ran over something and put a whole in one of his Diesel Tanks.
Made a real mess on I-695. (The Beltway)
Got to put some of those OP. skills to work. Diking and damming on…

Hey everyone!
I am a 40 year old working in the Baltimore County Fire Dept. Just finished my 18th year on the job on Septeber 12th, but i also have about 5 more years as a volly in county prior to being hired.
I work at an Engine, Truck and Double Medic house on the West Side. (The Busy Side) Although we are not in the Fire Triangle we see our share of the red stuff for being in the County.
We sit just about on the City/County line but unfortunately theres not much fire…
