AS some of you know California has been having arson fires. I want to
thank all of the firefighters that have been working day and night to
put these fires out and catch who has been doing this. Your dedication
and hard work has saved many peoples lives. You do good work and we
should all be thankful for your dedication to help and save lives.

I wanted to give my respect to a man that saved my life. Captain
Matthew Martin, from Death Valley. He taught me so much this year,
about myself, about firefighting and how to be stronger as an
individual. He literally saved my life more than once. People like this
guy are hard to find. He was the only person that would back me up,
teach and drive me to be a better stronger firefighter and friend.
