Marked Tree - A Northeast Arkansas firefighter suffered minor injuries while fighting a blaze in Marked Tree that spread to three buildings.
An official says the 32-year-old Tyronza firefighter had "severe pain in his right heel" after he lost his balance on a nearby roof and fell 16 feet.

I would like to ask for your help I was nominated for the Firefighter of the Year contest on a local radio station. Let me tell you why I was nominated for this, it came from the night of Augest 23 where I work as Fire/Safety personal at a local race track. CHARLOTTE -- Five people including four firefighters are recovering after a car accident involving a fire truck and an SUV on Monday morning.
The incident happened at the intersection of South Boulevard and Woodlawn Road. Firefighters were on the way to another accident on Interstate 77 at the time.
