Well I went to my first structure fire tonight. We were mutual aid for the city... actually the entire county was mutual aid on this one. I went POV and had to park in the mall parking lot next to the complex, there was an 8 ft chain link fence between me and the apts. So what do you think a rookie at his first structure fire did? We responded to a call tonight of a man burning trash not 10 foot from

a wooded area. The man refused to put it out and there was nothing we

could do because he lives in the county where it is legal for him to do
