I was on a Hotshot crew for three seasons when I was in high school. Loved the experiance but couldnt stay out of the poison oak. This country has the stuff like OLD GROWTH! Here in Brookings we hardly see much wildland fires other then a mile EAST when the Forest Dervice needs our help. Always enjoy getting out there and working. I am part of the States Incident Management Team as a Safety Officer. Figure to go that direction when I retire in a couple of years. Good luck with your project.
