Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I came across your site while doing research on the Rhode Island Nightclub Fire. I am the owner of a large (17,492 sq ft) pub restaurant club I built in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.
While building these facilities I took into account the findings, results and recommendations that came about as (unfortunately) a result of that nightclub fire.

Taking into account all the things that can be done right...I now have one of the best safety ratings of any structures and businesses similar to mine because we took the time and expense to do it right.

I wish to join this group to be able to access what for sure would be ideas and general information to help further my interest in operating a safe and legal business location. Unfortunately this type of concern is not widespread in Puerto Rico.........although if regulations and the fire codes were strictly enforced it would maybe be of greater concern to more people.
