Why I Joined Fire/EMS

The love of the job. Being a woman with experience running a chainsaw I got on easily with the forest service in 1989. I love the challenge and excitement. And 'saving the land'. I love the respect and the appreciation that people display towards you when you help to save their homes. I love the view from the tops of burning mountains . I love the signs and the cards made by little kids saying thanks..........
