About Me:: I join the fd in 1996, I was thinking this was cool, I get to ride around on shiny red fire trucks and have fun... Well 12 years later I still have fun but I kow that it is very serious work. I love being a firefighter I have learned so much in 12 years and still am learning every time i go to a call. I have a lot of repect for anyone that is in the emrgency services, or the miltary. I am a driver trainer and love to teach the younger crowd what I know even if they do not listen ( hey I Didnt at 16). I hope everyone that reads this stays safe and we all go home after the run.

Well guys and galls I guess you can wish me luck or call me stupid, but last december I was voted in as my companies new 2nd lt. I have been trying for the last 4 years, and it is a voted on postion by your peers, so it makes me feel good that all the guys are that confident in me to vote me in. THere where other members that ran, but i got the most votes. Hi My name is Dave and I reside in ct. I have been in the fire service for 12 years, joined up when I was 16 and the rest is history. I will be updating my page as I get time with videos,pics and other cool stuff. My dept is all vollunteer, and we run about 1500-1600 calls a year, all fire calls, No ems. (we have a ambulance corp for that). Just wanted to let everyone know who i am, so stay safe and peace!
