About Me:
My name is Steve, I've been involved with the fire service since I have been 15 years old. I joined the Shamokin Fire Bureau with I turned 18 as an active firefighter..........1985, a long time ago.

I've served as low as firefighhter and made it to the rank of Chief of the Department u until 2004. I was responsible for 6 stations in a 1 mile square city of about 10,000, mostly residential with some industries and high rises. I can say this department is second to no one around the Coal Region. At the present time I just a firefighter from a company that is full of family that believes in values, responsiblities and trust and that is the Friendship Fire Company.......THE PRIDE OF THE EAST SIDE.
