Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I grew up with my father a company firefighter with Waterloo. My father a volunteer firefighter for 30 years, my father would allow me to come down and check over the fire trucks on the weekend. During fire calls the wife and girlfriends would come down to the fire department to make a meal or snacks for the firefighters once back from the fire. Us as kids would grab a towel and help dry the fire trucks off. I fell in love of the fire service and how much of an impact the fire department had and the brotherhood fire department was. Just helping that person in need is an amazing feeling.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I love being able to help the sick, the people in need. The family of the fire/ems service.
