Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I worked part-time as a lifeguard for about 13 yrs and a buddy of mine became a Firefighter/EMT. I was talkin to him one day and he was tellin me about his experiences and I thought "wow". I took my basic EMT and was top of my class. I decided to Take the advanced EMT and did well there too. I talked with a couple of volunteer depts. and decided to be a firefighter. Now I can't see myself being anything else!!!!
