Why I Joined Fire/EMS: Actually, I was appointed to the position of Director of Emergency Services Civil Defense for the City of Mt. Vernon. I have trained extensively in Weapons of Mass Destruction at Anniston and New Mexico. I have worked very closely with Fire Police and EMS in Emergency Preparedness and Homeland Security.
