Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I have always wanted to be afirefighter by heart. I decided to take an EMT course as an elective in college. It just happen to be taught by the fire department and thats when i got hooked. I then realized that i lived in a community (Chugiak, AK) with a volunteer fire department and that you didnt have to do much to get in. Now i love it, and if i had enough money i would quite my job and just volunteer.
