About Me:
Constantly evaluating, trying to gather enough data to evolve programs to make them equitable, effective, and efficient.
Relationship Status:
Single
Why I Joined Fire/EMS
what I always wanted to do
Why I Love Fire/EMS
we can solve problems
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Inability to conduct post-assessments to incidents... with all members speaking freely. We don't do it. What did we do right, what did we do wrong/ not a flogging session, NOT an investigation..what went good/ what didn't? Why?
The only goal is to try to help, and to try to get better at the process of trying to help.

Urban interface is a big thing for us, we don't have many big cities, but those we do have sprawl!
Stay and defend or leave early - this has been working for years here. Nobody is forced into it, totally voluntary and we teach that whichever decision you make is the correct one for you. My eldest son and his wife have just had to make their decision tonight. Any fires tomorrow are almost certain to go out of control, and they live in the interface. They have National Park all around them. He will stay, she will bring the two little girls to my house around mid-day. Their decision, made together, so a correct decision.
Hello Patricia. You want work? Like what I hear in the USA, career firefighter jobs here are much sought after. Always hundreds applying for each vacancy on a course! Plenty of space for more volunteers, but it's hard to live on no money!
