Firefighter for 31 years, Paramedic for 27 years. Served 10 years as Rescue Specialist for the Illinois USAR team and the Illinois MABAS & CART Technical Rescue Teams. I am certified Instructor II and teach in Oak Lawn F.D.

About Me:

Duty, Pride, Tradition pretty much describes my feelings for the fire service. I owe any success in the fire service to those who have come before me, who trained me and gave me the drive I have today.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

My grandfather was a Lieutenant on Chicago F.D. and I knew I fit the type of person it takes to be a firefighter. Finally retired as a Lieutenant with OLFD.
