im 25 years old ,started out firefighting as a junior member,i am now on my 8 year with the north shore fire department,i am on rescue company 3 and im on the search and recue team,i have 1 personal life saving award .

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

the reason i joined the fire service was for the love of the job.when i was growing up we lived with the sound of my fathers pager going off and that always excited me.as i got older i went on a few ride alongs and fell in love with firefighting.my father who was a recue captain in our dept helped me along the way to improve me into the firefighter i am today .he pushed me to be the best at my job and i thank him for that because now i can be my best at helping the community we serve

Why I Love Fire/EMS

i would have to say # 1 is helping the community in what ever way i can and second she is one hell of an adrenalin rush and 3 the comradary
