About Me:

Was a Fire Cadet for 1.5 years and then became a Volunteer when I was old enough to qualify. While on my second year as a volunteer I was hired with ODF (Oregon Department Of Forestry) and volunteered my time with my structure department when I was off duty. I will be finishing my Fire Science degree and getting my para-medicine degree within the next year or two and then becoming a career structure firefighter!

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I have always wanted to be a career fireman since I was 4, long before my family persuaded and guided me into this profession!
It's in the family. My Grandfather retired as a Lieutenant with the FDNY and is now deceased, my uncle is currently a Lieutenant with Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue, My mom worked for the US Forrest Service on an engine for 15 years and my brother is on a type 2 IA hand crew and my oldest brother was also a hot shot and is now testing with Portland Fire & Rescue
