About Me:
I started the acadamy Sep. 19, 2006 spending not quite a year in school. i had three children at home with a 4th one on the way. i worked a full time job during the day, and two nights a week in school with an all day saturday. When my wife lost her job,i had to make a hard decision. DO i follow in my dad's footsteps and quit school to work another job? Or do i just say screw it and move in with family until i can finish school? ......I told myself that if i quit now, i'll never have the chance to go back. i was a little over half way through school and there was not a chance in hell i was gonna quit. Not unless it was life or death.( i still think death would have been the only way. just kiding) i was selected to go to compete at SKILLS USA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP in Kansas City. I was so happy i didn't know what to think.....not until i came home as a SILVER MEDALIST winner in TechPrep-Government and Public Administration with to of my brothers i grauated with....

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
i have had the dream to become a fire fighter from a young child. i can remember my dad getting up from his dinner many times to run to a call. i could tell my mom was always upset he was leaving but she would always say "i love you, please be careful". she told me that my dad was going to help some one else out that was in trouble.. before i started the acadamy, i asked my dad why he never went career. he told me that he had to let his dream fade away to support his family. so i guess another reason i wanted it was for him.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
just knowing that i may be able to help some one else out when they need it.
Hey butthead, I see you finally made your way here. I remember that house. I got a little cooked if I remember right. Alright keep your nose clean and I will catch you later. By the way nice bio but what about all those excellent instructors you had, one even gave you a part-time gig at the track.......mmmmmm
