Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I've grown up around the fire service, my dad is currently asst. district chief at the station I am on, at 14 he talked me into joining the local explorer program, at that point I only wanted to be an emt once in the program I feel in love with the fire side as well. After 9-11 I knew that I wanted to make a career out of helping others. I can't imagine doing anything else.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I get to help others in their time of need

Kristin, welcome to the Nation. Glad you joined the group. Dont be shy just jump in anywhere and get your feet wet. Your involvement and participation is important to us all. There is lots to do, read and be involved with here. Takes some time to kinda find your way around but is well worth the effort. You will get out of this what you put into it. Have fun and be safe.
