Not a whole lot to say... I love going out and enjoying the fun things in life. Usually referred as "the energizer bunny". I love the outdoors, hiking, offroading, and playing outside, though my enjoyment of the cold oregon water is limited by my complete inability to surf or swim in strong currents... :) I drive a truck, love sports, watch discovery, etc. but still enjoy relaxing by a warm fire and or watching the stars late at night... I'm just me, wanna kow more... ask!

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

During highschool I joined the LA County's Explorers program and enrolled in some college wildland firefighting courses, which allowed me to ride along with local fire departments and learn about the basics of fire and EMS. Though I intended to become a wildland firefighter and spend my time in the woods, my first EMS call assured me that fighting fire in the woods was NOT all there was to being a firefighter. I love fire, I really love EMS, and I can't imagine doing anything else...
