Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I got really interested when i ran a call with my brothern law in a off road recreation center in our county and i saw some people i knew and got to talking to them and they explaind all the ins and outs of the fire and rescue and ems services and i got really interested. The next day i was at my communities volunter fire dept geting an application and then after that i have been hooked every since. I live for this stuff after i found out how much fun and how much people really looked up and appreciated what we do in our community. I love to help peoplpe and see people have a smile when we show up to help.

Top Issues Facing Responders:: Not haveing enough people show up for trainning and running calls really meaning the stricly volunteer depts.

One in our area and the other in the dept just to the west of us and we are really closer so got called also.The one today really was a shed and then into the house so we got called for full responce instead of just for a tanker.So been fun last couple days.

Now I really didnt get to know my real father, his name is Johnny Messer and I believe that my mother has told me that his parents live in North Carolina. So you never know we might be the same clan.
