The hard work has finally paid off.... i received my EMT card in the mail today!! i was pretty sure i passed, but, of course, had to wait on the card for it to be official. I wasn't expecting it for at least another month!! well, to all of you who passed as well, congrats! i will be posting some photos of our parade last week soon!

I thought I would add a picture, since the one of my daughter (at the prom) and Iturned out nice. and of course, it cropped my head off and all you can see is my photogenic daughter and my clevage (what little i have) and i've have pulled my hair out trying to change it or delete it and it won't let me. if anyone has a suggestion, please post it!! thanks in advance!

Well the busy weekend for my little rural dept has finally slowed to end.... it seems to go in spurts. we were on stand by for the city dept (next city over) while they attended a fireman's funeral and they ended up having an attic fire. so we went and saved the day. the neighborhood was stunned to see the little volunteer dept from down the road show up before their home city (paid) dept. we had a wicked winter storm and another little town suffered from alot of damage so we spent a good part… Continue
