Hi Donald, Thanks for inviting me as a friend.
I've been to Clarendon County FD. I have the Clarendon patch for the display board I am building that will say "Where Is Clarendon?"
Our patch should be at the Clarendon Station heres why.............You're gonna love this how funny it is to here from someone with the Manning FD. I laughed when I found out where your from.
In May of 2005 my wife and I went to MB to visit my son who lived there with his buddy......Dave Biggs {I'm sure you know him}.
My wife, son and I went to Clarendon County EMS station to visit Dave who was on duty. While there and on our way to Manning they got a call
that you had a house fire. They responded to the scene. Upon arrival the house was fully involved.
Dave said that you'd be short handed for a few minutes and asked me to help with set up at the scene. My son {who's also a FF} and I helped with setup, I manned the second engine as lines were stretched and we laid a supply line to the first engine.
After a while another FF took over operating the engine thanked me for my help and I went to took photo's.
Dave, my wife, son and I all laughed that I traveled that far and that the 2nd A/C {position at the time}, from Clarendon FD, in Clarendon, VT provided mutual aid to a FD in Clarendon County, S.C.
When I got back to our dept. I told them the story and asked for credit at a mutual aid call. They all laughed and said "no credit".
Keep in touch. Looking forward to hearing from you. Keep safe. Norm
