About Me:

I became an EMT/Firefighter because I grew up around the fire department all my life. I wanted to help people, I was sick of driving by the scene of an accident or at an event when someone got hurt and the only thing I knew for sure was not to bother them without proper training because you could do more damage. So I got the training and keep it up to date. And took additional classes to even better myself in the fire service

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

My dad was Fire Chief of several Fire Departments, and a law enforcement officer as well, and My Grandfather helped get the local vol. squad started. Through them I learned what it is like to help people when they are in need the most. And through my mother I learned the sacrifice that the families of Fire, EMS, and Law Enforcement make.

Funding, I think the leg. is trying to phase out volunteer fire departments.
