About Me:

well i grew up in a small vol. fire dept. with my dad as a firefighter medic. now that small dept. is the biggest dept in the county, engine company 2 out of mineral va. There were all one big family. im also the captian of the juniors at louisa rescue.

im a full time student at louisa county high school

Well lets see my dads a fire medic. and i grew up around fire and ems

the rush and i get to help people

Top Issues Facing Responders:

idk. but id have to say building construction the new town houses in this area are causing more and more injurys to firefighters. and thats due to the balloon type contruction, once that fire reaches a beam that goes form the bottom of the house to the top all you can do is what we call serround and drown. but whare the firefighters are getting hurt is when they open and atteck to check it with the TIC and BOOM it blows them out the front door.
