I am as of now a 150 hr fire fighter...i like 80 hours till my 400 hour level is done...I have went through farm resxue classes...numerous vehicle extrication classes as well as flashover chamber..and smoke trailors..

Day Job:

I am a custodian at The Barren County High School Trojan Academy...

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I wanted to help people as well as my community...and my uncle was in the emergency services...so it kind rubbed off there too..

Why I Love Fire/EMS

I guess the feeling you get when you leave knowing you have helped someone and at the parades too see the little kids faces light up when they see the fire fighters and the fire truck...

Top Issues Facing Responders:

In some areas the lack of training...I have been to other departments and they will come out and tell you we don't train like we should.
