I have been an EMT since 1994 and my instructor was Armond Miles. I was an Emergency Medical Dispatcher for 3 years(holding the rank of Lt.) until I achieved my paramedic certification in2003.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

The entire industry is extremely overworked and as a whole underpaid. It is becoming more and more difficult to get and hold staff, thus making existing personnel have to work overtime to meet the increasing demand.
