- i have joined the fire/ems to try and get in touch with kevin o'toole about ald. my son was diagnosed last yr.,at age 8, with addison's disease. now, a yr. later, on 11/4/09 he was diagnosed with ald. we had a mri done on 11/6/09 and it showed that the white matter in his brain was starting to shrink. he is showing no signs yet otherwise. we need help soon!!! the doctors around here don't know anything about it. i have two other sons,4 and 5 yrs., that need to be tested also. please tell kevin to get in touch with me and let me know about their doctors asap! i don't know how much time we have. thank you, amy atkinson
