Why I Joined Fire/EMS

It all started when a good friend of mine asked me if I would be interested in trying out the fire service. The more I learned, the more i loved it

Top Issues Facing Responders:

here the major issue is our sheriff. we are dispatched through the Sheriff's dept. he thinks he can do everything. We have problems such as, deputies going to check out fires before the fire dept is dispatched, undertrained dispatchers who only know how to do background checks but, nothing about fire and rescue. We rarely know any information about an incident, until we arrive on scene, if we are given the correct address!
